The Firm
Ultra Protection, Inc. (UPI) or UPI Security & Investigations (dba) is a state licensed, fully insured Security and Investigations firm. Founded by a former Police Officer and Army MP, UPI was established for the purpose of offering Clients a standard of service that is second to none. Initially, UPI specialized in Executive and Dignitary Protection for Energy Companies, Celebrities, Athletes, and Political Figures. Due to diverse demands, UPI developed and implemented Uniformed Security and Investigation divisions. With over 60+ years of combined experience and the desire to exceed industry standards at every level, UPI has pushed to the front lines and has become recognized as a Premier Security & Investigations firm.
The Philosophy
The philosophy of UPI is to push ahead of the competition by exceeding industry standards in every category. While many firms strive to achieve and maintain state standards and requirements, UPI surpasses these same standards at every level. Many claim to be "different." We prove it by publishing the training and requirements of our staff for our Clients and our competition. We aim to increase the level of professionalism in this industry by establishing staffing requirements that are as much as 3X that of current industry standards. Higher staffing requirements are rewarded by higher wages, which we believe directly impact the motivation and performance of our staff. We dare to compare. A bold move? We believe it's a smart one.

Executive Security
UPI offers Bodyguard and Executive Protection Services for Executives, Entertainers, Celebrities, Athletes, Political Figures, and any person or organization seeking close personal protection. Our Clientele includes bank executives from one of the largest Banking Groups in the U.S. , Law Firms, Jewelers, Actors, Professional Athletes, and Political figures. UPI staff members have been seen from the "red carpets" of Vegas, to the local news.
Investigations
Ultra Protection, Inc. provides private investigations services throughout the state of Texas. U.P.I. maintains a staff of licensed and highly trained private investigators. With the use of modern equipment and up to date investigational methods, we take pride in the ability to deliver quality results that are a "cut above" the competition.
Bodyguard services
Unlike the stereotype of the "brawny bouncer" pushing his way through a crowd to make way for his Client, UPI Bodyguards and Executive Protection Specialist are trained and licensed professionals. Licensed Account Representatives are able to handle all of your details, from arranging secure transportation and travel arrangements, to meeting or conference facilities and lodging. UPI staff members are able to blend into any situation or atmosphere, whether it be corporate and high profile events or low profile group outings.
training division
UPI "Active Aggressor" Courses offer a series of programs that provide "hands-on," realistic scenarios to prepare students for critical events. Students are taught defensive techniques, such as hand strikes, kicks, throws, ground fighting, and escapes. After learning the techniques, students are able to practice and demonstrate forcible techniques on an Instructor, in real time, with active resistance.

UPI is experienced in providing the best security services to meet the specific needs of your special event. Our guards provide services for events like concerts, theatre events, athletic events, conferences, festivals, parties, and any other personal or corporate event.
Uniformed Guard Services
UPI offers 3 different levels of guard service, allowing our Clients to tailor a program and structure that fits, both their individual needs, as well as their budget. All UPI uniformed staff members are State Certified and trained by Law Enforcement or Military Instructors, only. Whether it be a UPI "Basic" level Officer to simply provide a "uniformed presence," or an "Advanced" level - armed Officer with over 3X the state required training, UPI offers service options for virtually any setting.
